I recently learned about Senhoa, a Cambodian organization that supports victims of human trafficking “by providing income-generating opportunities, social reintegration and programs for self-empowerment.” One of these opportunities is a jewelry making program that not only teaches these young girls a skill-set, but helps to strengthen their self-esteem and self-worth. The below video, via Coco Rocha’s blog, sheds light on the organization and the importance of their efforts.

I was touched by their efforts and moved to somehow extend support, which you can do by purchase of one of their handmade pieces. Go here if you’d like to check out the Senhoa store. I especially love and purchased this Sopheary bracelet from the Coco Rocha for Senhoa Collection. Beautiful and for a great cause!
